The querent wanted to ask someone for money. More specifically, his plan was to first contact a friend and then bring up the matter of borrowing money. He urgently needed cash turnover, so he cast a hexagram to ask whether he would be able to borrow the money from this person.
Judgment:
1. Locating the significator: first siblings, then wife and wealth
In ordinary borrowing-money readings, the wife and wealth line is usually examined first. However, in this case, the person’s actual intention was “first to contact a friend, then to talk about money.” Since there was a sequence in the matter, the first significator should be the siblings line, representing the friend. In this hexagram, that was siblings C wood. The second significator was the wife and wealth line.
