The querent asked whether it was suitable to renovate a clinic according to the existing design plan. Hexagram obtained: Sun.

Judgment: This hexagram showed a clear image of financial loss, demolition, and forced reconstruction.

1. The broad image: Sun directly indicated loss

The question was about whether the current clinic renovation design should be carried out. The hexagram obtained was Sun, “Decrease” or “Loss.”

In the Zhouyi, Sun carries the meaning of reduction, loss, cutting away, and damage. When asking about investment, renovation, or construction, obtaining this hexagram already gave a direct image: following the existing plan would not bring benefit, but would instead create waste, loss, and unnecessary expense.

In this case, the broad hexagram image set the tone of the matter. The design plan was unstable and would lead to financial damage.

2. The core negative image: siblings holding the host line and being clashed by the day

The host line represented the querent’s side and the current renovation plan. In this hexagram, the host line was the third-line siblings B earth.
